Coffee reimagined

From coffee-shop observations to global recognition.

KUNS turns a coffee-ground origin into a refined material language for brands seeking warmth, tactility, and a credible sustainability story.

The Founder

A response to a very real waste problem.

KUNS was founded by Pinrat Pinveha, a PhD researcher who set out to turn an everyday waste stream into a high-value material.

Amid Thailand’s PM2.5 crisis — driven in part by the burning of agricultural waste — she saw the same problem around her in Bangkok: cafes discarding vast amounts of spent coffee grounds every day, sent to landfill and quietly generating greenhouse gases. Her vision was to turn that overlooked waste into a high-value material serving both design and the environment.
